Blackjack Pipboy/buck 3000

This was my Pipboy 3000 and glove attachment that I wore to BUCK 2014 in Manchester this August, took me about six weeks of hard work and a lot of literally blood sweat and tears (especially the tears). The original raw resin cast was made by Forge Props, which required a lot of sanding and cleaning up of excess material, before painting and installing the electronics (the LED light and screen). The screen is a paper insert, with an orange lighting film layer with an electroluminescant panel at the back and both the panel and LED run off a 9v AAA battery. I had a lot of fun with the latter stages, although I think this project taught me that I should never use power tools or work with plastics/metals again.
